Fang (Korean: 팡; Chinese: 方; Japanese: ファング) is a Chinese singer managed by Picture Music. Before participating in Exo Planet 999, he was a contestant on Produce Camp 2021 and he also made his debut with the boy group, HEART2HEART on February 15, 2019. He later placed eighth in the survival show, Exo Planet 999 and became a member of the project boy group, H6bble.
Early life[]
Born on March 28, 1997, Fang was already destined to become a celebrity himself. Being born to parents who were also celebrities, his mother got traction from her activities in the model industry while his father achieved his fame from also being a popular idol in China. He had a better childhood than most kids at an early age, although he was considered a feurdai due to his family's wealth, he was often taught and lectured by his parents to always work hard for your goals. He's always remembered the motto his parents told him.
He didn't struggle with his studies at school despite being book smart and he was a typical social butterfly with his classmates, trying to make new friends everyday. Being an idol himself like his father was never on his mind and instead he dreamt of becoming a teacher in the future. But, it wasn't until he got bombarded with several "love calls" from various entertainment agencies in China and even from South Korea every single day as a young teenage boy. He ignored them at first, often running away from his phone when he got a call. He also never told his parents about this so he was forced to deal with this situation on his own.
After a year or so, he finally decided to accept an offer to become a trainee at his current agency, Picture Music since at the time, he also liked photography and taking pictures. From there, he began to follow in his father's footsteps.

Fang prior to Exo Planet 999
Fang's personality is closely similar to his parent's as he looks up to them. He works hard whenever he wants to achieve a goal or complete a task quickly, often neglecting his own self to do such things. He doesn't want to let down people so he'll always do his best in order not to, and if he does he'll regret his actions and feel bad for the person about it. His name usually got made fun of a lot at school, so he's highly self-conscious of his own actions and the way he acts every minute in order to not attract attention or be seen in a bad light. He's also very organized and a huge clean freak, often getting easily irritated when something doesn't go the right way. If he isn't having a feeling under the weather, Fang is someone who you can rely on and easily talk to. He always maintains eye contact with whoever he's conversing with and he will try to continue the conversation, being the precious social butterfly he is. He likes to smile and get a good laugh with anyone he's talking with. Furthermore, he is also very headstrong and competitive in anything that's like a competition as he wants to be on top.
Career[]
2019: Debut in HEART2HEART[]
Fang began his journey in the K-pop scene after making his debut in HEART2HEART on February 15. The group has made one comeback since then and have been on a indefinite hiatus due to the COVID-19 pandemic.
2021–2022: Produce Camp 2021, Exo Planet 999, H6bble[]
In February of 2022, Fang participated in Chinese boy group survival show, Produce Camp 2021, representing his current label, Picture Music on the show. His participation in the show was cut shortly as he was unfortunately eliminated in the first ranking round, ranking 66th place.
On January 14, 2022, Fang was confirmed as a contestant on the upcoming South Korean reality survival show, Exo Planet 999, after being shown in the show's official teaser along with other contestants. The show began broadcasting on May 6, 2022 and held its finale on May 17, 2022. During the finale, Fang was announced as the first member to be in H6bble after achieving eighth place.
On June 23, 2022, Fang officially debuted with H6bble following the release of their first mini album, First Launch.
On October 6th, it was announced that Fang would temporarily be withdrawing from the survival show group to promote with his original group, HEART2HEART who are making their comeback on October 11th.
