Chae Jong Won (채종원; or simply Jongwon) is a Danish singer-songwriter, rapper, dancer and producer under Butterscotch Records. He is the former general manager of STAGEBOYS and a former member of its 1st Generation. He is also a former pre-debut member of the male supergroup 247.
He made his solo debut on December 1, 2024 with the self titled-single album.
Career[]
2024–2025: Debut with STAGEBOYS, 247 and Change of agency[]
On September 11, 2024, He was introduced as the first generation member of STAGEBOYS. He made his debut as a member of STAGEBOYS on January 20, 2025 with the group's first single "Frontline".
On November 30, 2024, 247 introduced their second member, Jong Won, who represents 01:00, through the teaser, and also with the release of his self-titled single album.
On December 8, 2024, Butterscotch Records declared the cancellation of the project, citing scheduling conflicts among the members as the reason.
On January 19, 2025, It was announced that Jong Won has transferred his agency from NEXTSCOTCH to Butterscotch Records.
2027: Resignment from STAGEBOYS and Return to STAGEBOYS[]
On January 16, 2027, Jong Won resigned from STAGEBOYS for personal reasons. Then, on August 21, 2027, he made his comeback to the group after it was reformed following its disbandment on May 31, 2027.
2031: Official Graduation from STAGEBOYS[]
On March 11, 2031, He officially graduated from STAGEBOYS due to the group's disbandment.
