CHESHyyRE (Korean: 체샤이어; Japanese: チェシャイア; sometimes stylized as CheShyyRe) is a 7-members South Korean girl group under HillHigh. They debuted on November 3, 2023, with their first mini album OBSOLETE.
History[]
Pre-Debut:[]
On September 1, 2022, HillHigh revealed their trainee team Girls Hill. The team would feature trainees from the company that are working towards their debut. The same day the first trainee Kim Soyoon was revealed.
On September 19, 2022, the second trainee Jo Seyoung was revealed and another hidden trainee. On September 25, 2022, the hidden trainee was revealed to be Kim Yurim.
On October 16, 2022, the fourth trainee Choi Aran was revealed.
On November 20, 2022, HillHigh revealed that two contestants of Way To Idol, Nakamura Sera and Kang Hyein would be joining the team.
On December 6, 2022, HillHigh revealed trainee Kwon Woonyoung. Previously she was a trainee under CMSIX Entertainment and trained with LE FANCIER as shown in the documentary BIRTH of LE FANCIER.
On December 16, 2022, Introduction to the 7-members team was revealed on YouTube. The team would begin their pre-debut activities until the group's name and debut is officially announced. The company stated that there might be line-up changes in the future. The first episode of "Girls on Hill" was uploaded on their YouTube channel on December 25, showcasing the team celebrating Christmas together.
On February 3, 2023, Girls Hill revealed that they would release a pre-debut hip-hop dance 2000s inspired single titled Girls on Hill on February 26, 2023. HillHigh revealed that they're working towards the debut for the girls but they're not trying to rush anything. This single is to thank the current and upcoming fans that are patiently waiting for the group's official debut.
Debut:[]
On June 23, 2023, HillHigh Entertainment announced that Girls Hill would make their official debut on the second half of 2023 under the new name CHESHyyRE. The group's account were updated to the new name and another account for HillHigh trainees was opened, Girls Hill 2.
On July 1, 2023, the seven members were officially introduced with their new stage names.
On October 10, 2023, HillHigh revealed that CHESHyyRE would make their official debut on November 3, 2023, with their first mini album OBSOLETE.
On May 13, 2024, HillHigh revealed that CHESHyyRE would make their first comeback on June 3, 2024, with their second mini album Slide.
On January 13, 2025, HillHigh revealed that CHESHyyRE would be making a comeback with their third mini album "Quadrio", the mini would be released on February 5, 2025.
