CDSN (천둥소년), also known as Cheondung Sonyeon or Thunder Boys, is a pre-debut boy group under Shingyu Studio. The group is set to debut between late 2025 to early 2026.
Concept[]
Like ANP, CDSN will have unlimited members with a rotation concept, where members can join and leave as they please. Before members join, a voting is held to determine the members that will join CDSN.
Name[]
CDSN is an abbreviation for the Korean term Cheondung Sonyeon, which means "Thunder boys". The name means to charge into K-pop like thunder with diverse members.
History[]
Pre-debut[]
Sometime in 2024, a claim for "CDSN" was found to be trademarked by Shingyu Studio, sparking rumors that the company is planning to debut an upcoming boy group.
On December 3, 2024, during an interview, Han Yun-mook revealed plans for an upcoming unlimited member boy group named CDSN and trainees from ANSHINGYU who did not succeed in joining ANP through the second official voting, they will instead be transferred to CDSN. The group is expected to debut in late 2025-early 2026. It was further revealed that the company has already pre-picked a male trainee to join CDSN. On December 6, 2024, Haruhi was announced as the group's first member.
On December 14, 2024, Tikuu, Willie, Seunggeum, Eunhyeon, Wonjoon, Sumyeong, and Kazuhiro were announced as new members of CDSN after placing in the top 14 of the voting. On December 16, 2024, trainee group CD Project was announced to have been established for CDSN.
On February 1, 2025, Jihu, Satuq, and Xiangjing were announced as new members. Additionally, the group was announced to be preparing for unit activities sometime in the third quarter of 2025.
