Byungho's natural flair for rap led him to participate in competitions throughout his school years. His talent caught the eye of a Brisco Entertainment talent scout who was attending one such event in Alaska in 2015. Fascinated by Byungho's skills, the scout approached him and encouraged him to audition online.
