Boo Taehyun (known by his nickname, Yunhae) is a South Korean trainee under Callisto Entertainment.
History[]
Early life[]
Taehyun was born in Goyang, South Korea, on April 3rd, 2007. His mother was a fashion and his father an architect. He went to Dwight School Seoul and is currently attending SJA Music Institute
He has lived in Goyang all his life and calls it his only home. He picked up his love for pop culture and idol life in middle school as all his friends gossiped a lot about idol drama.
He adored rap and started rapping in school as a hobby. At his schools lunchtime, his friends out creat rhythms/beats with their pencils and pens and Taehyun would freestyle to the beat. His friends ushered him to become an idol as he could make money with his talent and prove to his parents that he wasn’t jobless.
Trainee days[]
Taehyun chose Callisto as he was hoping to find great trainers there. He was afraid of the stories he had heard about other companies mistreatment and wanted a small company where there would be no corruption.
When he first moved into the Callisto dorms, he was greeted by the other potential members of callicats. Some staff said he fitted in instantly from the how welcoming the company was.
Taehyun mostly focused on his rap skills. There, he also learnt how to dance and stabilise his vocals.
Callicats[]
Taehyun was a member of pre-debut group Callicats. He was set to be main rapper of the group but he left as because he wanted to focus on himself.
