Bong Haejung (봉해정) was a South Korean folk singer-songwriter under his own company Haejung Entertainment. He released his first studio album 슬픈 on May 1, 1993, under Koryeosam Works.
He passed away on May 27, 2006, at the age of 34 due to a sudden seizure.

He married actress and singer Kim Seo Yeon on June 27, 1998. They have 5 children: Bong Roo-hwan, Bong Roo-ri, Bong Roo-mi, Bong Roo-kyung, and Bong Roo-hyung.
Death[]
On May 27, 2006, it was reported that Haejung was found dead at his apartment. An autopsy report revealed that he had died from a sudden seizure.
