Ben (벤) is a New Zealand singer currently under YR Entertainment. He is a member of pre-debut boy group AROHA and the 11-member project boy group XOLAS.
Early life[]
Benjamin Kang-jin Hwang was born on September 16, 2009 in Auckland, New Zealand to South Korean immigrant parents. He is an only child. At the age of 13 in Janaury 2023, he moved to Seoul and became an LSG Entertainment trainee, later being transferred to YL Entertainment.
Career[]
Pre-debut[]
Hwang was announced as a member of AROHA in December of 2023, but they have yet do debut.
2024: DREAM TICKET, XOLAS[]
On April 19, he was revealed to be taking part in DREAM TICKET. On July 30, Ben ranked #1 in the finale, making him a member of the 11-member project boy group XOLAS.
