Bang Yongguk (방용국) is a South Korean rapper, songwriter and producer under HYPE (formerly BLANK). He made his solo debut in early 2021 with his debut single "UP". He is a former member of the boy group B.O.P.
Career[]
2012-2017: B.O.P[]
He debuted in B.O.P on September 17, 2012 with their first single "Neon".
He left B.O.P on August 24, 2017 following the expiration of his contract with ST Entertainment.
2021: Joining Big Chance Music, "UP".[]
On September 21, it was announced that he had signed a exclusive contract with Big Chance Music.
On November 7, Big Chance Music announced that Bang Yongguk would be making his solo debut with his single "UP", released on November 23.
2022: "Shut Up" and "Journey"[]
On April 27, he released his single "Shut Up".
On October 12, he released his first mini album "Journey".
2023: Re-branding of Big Chance Music to BLANK and 5.[]
On January 18, it was announced that Big Chance Music would be re-branding to BLANK.
On January 19, it was announced that he would be making a comeback with his first studio album "5".
