Bang Mi-Sun (방미선; or simply MiSun) is a South Korean-British songwriter, composer and producer under HYPE.
Early life[]
Bang Mi-Sun was born in Seoul, Myeong-dong. At the age of 6 she and her family moved to the UK and gained citizenship.
At the age of 15, she found her passion for songwriting after joining her schools after-school music club with her friends. Eventually after producing and songwriting her own songs and even for some small independent artists, she decided to take her career and passion of songwriting and producing to the next level.
In 2019 she joined Source Music as a producer and songwriter and produced songs for GFRIEND. In 2021 she left Source Music and eventually joined Ivory Entertainment Group and went onto produce for ViCTORS, IM:PACT and Xing.
In 2023 she left IEG and joined HYPE where she now produces mainly for Playground, ZAXB and KD.
