Bailey Park (베일리 박) is a South Korean born New Zealander singer and songwriter signed under Blair Music, in which he is a member of their pre-debut trainee team Blair Boys, he is also a member of the project boy group XOLAS.
He is best known for having competed in the survival show DREAM TICKET, in which his final ranking was 3rd Place.
History[]
Early Life[]
Bailey Park was born on September 8, 2007, in Auckland, New Zealand, to a couple whose names are undisclosed. He is the youngest with two older siblings (Samantha born in 2000, and Andrew born in 2004). His father is partnered as a lawyer at a law firm, while his mother is a stay at home mother. His mother and father immigrated to New Zealand in the 90's prior to him and his siblings births.
Growing up, he was always interested in music, having taken piano lessons growing up alongside his brother and sister. It was through his musical education that he discovered K-pop, having came across 6topia's music video for Immortal Sin in 2016.
From here, it was when Bailey started auditioning for K-pop companies in hopes of becoming a trainee, during these auditions he would sing, dance, rap as well as bringing his violin and showcasing his skills as a violinist.
During one such audition, he was accepted into SM Entertainment in 2017, after which he joined and became a trainee.
Joining SM Entertainment and Big Hit Music[]
Sometime in 2017, Bailey joined SM Entertainment, where he was a trainee from 2017-2019, during this time, he was originally slotted to debut in a later NCT unit, but left the company after not liking the musical direction that unit was supposed to take.
From 2019-2024, Bailey spent the next 5 years as a Big Hit Music trainee, he initially auditioned in hopes of competing in "I-Land" but was unable too due to his age with him being only 12 years old at the time the show was originally airing. Because of this, Bailey who was going to transfer to Belift Lab but ended up not transferring due to this.
During this time as a trainee, he began learning how to produce and create music, along with that, he has released several original songs on Soundcloud under the name JI-Ley.
Afterwards, Bailey revealed in a later post in Blair Boys, that he was going to join HYBE Labels Japan's audition show "&AUDITION The Howling", Bailey ended up declining not going into the survival show, due to spraining his foot the week prior to the show began filming.
He remained a trainee under Big Hit Music the next two years before he left the company and joined Blair Music, following their global company audition.
Joining Blair Music[]
On March 2, 2024, Bailey was revealed as a new member of Blair Music's pre-debut trainee team Blair Boys, he joined at 16 years old.
During his time as a trainee, he showed excellent skills in song writing and producing, with him having been asked to help co-produce and write for WYVERN's upcoming comeback only 2 days into being a trainee.
Because of his raw talent in creating songs, he has since been touted as a producer prodigy, so much so that EMERGE's Sette personally visited him to see how he creates songs.
From June to July it was announced that Him, Kim Eunoo, and Lee Yonghee's training were frozen due to their participation in DREAM TICKET, they will begin will begin to go back to regular training once they come back to Blair Boys.
On July 30, after debuting in XOLAS, he will continue to be on hiatus until further notice.
Career[]
2024: Competing in DREAM TICKET, Lyricist and Composer Debut[]
On April 18, it was announced that Bailey would be representing Blair Music in the upcoming survival show DREAM TICKET alongside Kim Eunoo and Lee Yonghee.
On April 22, the signal song for DREAM TICKET "Dream Island", and it was revealed here that Bailey was selected as the signal songs center.
On May 5, he made his composers/writing debut in NAVIS COLUMBA for WYVERN's upcoming comeback album The Great Knight and the Dragon's Brood Part 3. In which he helped write and compose "Twining Moonlight" and "The Knights conclusion".
On the first episode of DREAM TICKET, it showed Bailey performing solo for his audition in which he performed "Goodbye" by Taemin. His starting ranking was revealed to be in A-class.
On the third episode, during the re-ranking evaluation, he remained as A-class.
On the fourth episode, he performed ENHYPEN's "Sweet Venom" alongside Ben, Serafim, Song Yushan and Moon Yejun. Due to having won the Signal Song position, he was allowed to pick first for his benefit. During which he was selected as the teams, Leader, Center and Vocal 2. His personal score was 402 points, which added to his teams score to made a total of 757 points. This gave his team the win, along with the winning benefit, Bailey was also given the extra benefit of having reached first place in his team.
During the first eliminations for the first round, Bailey ranked in at 4th place, thus giving him entry into the second round of DREAM TICKET.

On the sixth episode, it was the position battles, he was part of the dance battles, in which he danced to RIIZE's "Siren", with Lee Yonghee, Ace, Jeon Bora, Ming Huang, Kim Junseo, Junior. He was given the position of dancer 1. His team won the dance battle.
During the second eliminations for the second round, Bailey ranked in at 1st place, thus giving him entry into the third round of DREAM TICKET.

On the eighth episode, it was the concept evaluation battles, Bailey was originally part of the team that would have performed "Girls Love Boys", but due to the team having more then 5 members, Bailey had voluntarily offered to remove himself from the team and as such, he ended up switching into the team that would perform "VILLAIN". After the end of the episode it was revealed that his team won after 3 out of the 5 producers voted their team as the winners.
During the third eliminations for the third round, Bailey once again ranked at 1st place, giving him entry into the finale of DREAM TICKET.

On July 30, during the finale of DREAM TICKET, his final rank was 3rd place, making him a member of the winning group XOLAS.

On August 2, Bailey along with Yonghee opened individual Instagram accounts, with his handle being "Bayleef_Park".
On September 23, Bailey alongside XOLAS will debut with their first mini album FIRST LIGHT.
On December 11, it was announced that Bailey along with VIIXEN's Tatev would be the duel MC's for HKRT's newest show Global Sensation, it will begin airing in December at a later date.
On Dcember 15, it was announced that Bailey would be one of the three hosts for Battleground K: Music Dojang!'s season 2.

Education[]
When Bailey joined SM Entertainment, he was in his Year 5 of elementary school. He soon transferred over to a Korean elementary school, in which he joined 4th year of elementary school. He graduated from elementary school in 2020.
In 2020, he became a student at Cheongdam Middle School, where he stayed in until his graduation from middle school in 2023.
After graduating from Cheongdam Middle School, he became a student at Hanlim Multi Arts School as student of their Broadcasting & Entertainment Department.
As of 2024, he is currently in his second year of high school.
Personality[]
Bailey is a always seen as a good natured kid amongst the other trainees, often being seen always enjoying his time training and having fun, he is always helping the other trainees with their training, having spent 6 years of training at the time of him joining Blair Music.
Since he is one of the older trainees in Blair Boys, he is often seen with the other same-age trainees as being the mentor/leaders of Blair Boys, with them all taking charge of how to wrangle the other kids. With Bailey being the one that is in charge of helping the other trainees in learning how to write songs of their free time.
Due to being the youngest in his family, and having always been one of the younger ones in the other companies he trained at, having become a Hyung and one of trainees that has to be responsible was something he had to learn how to do properly. He has admitted that he's not used to being a big brother, but he is always thankful that the others understand this and let him grow and lead at his own pace and intervene when they need too.
Friendships[]
- Kim Jiheon: When he first joined Blair Music, Jiheon first heard some of Bailey's music samples and recorded songs, intrigued, he went to personally visit the younger, and since then, they have maintained a mentor-tutor relationship with each other. With Jiheon helping guide Bailey in how to not only arrange songs, but to also produce them.
- Kim Sungmin: Sungmin and Bailey are close friends back from when they were SM Entertainment trainees, it had saddened Bailey when he left the company they remained in touch the following years talking with each other and hanging out often. When Sungmin was told that Bailey left Big Hit Music, he was the one that told him to audition for Blair Music, stating that they could become trainees together again, to which Bailey took up on.
- Kim Eunoo: because they started training together for DREAM TICKET, they have since become closer, with Bailey even telling him and Yonghee that they can drop honorifics with him, stating that he views them as his little brothers due to the time the three of them have spent together.
- Lee Yonghee: the maknae of their DREAM TICKET trio, that they have since affectionally called "DREAM BLAIR", due to this, both him and Eunoo love to spoil and pamper Yonghee, even mentioning more then once, the youngest members height is what makes him even more adorable.
- Ben: Him and Ben have remained close friends during their time together on DREAAM TICKET, what with them being able to talk to each other often in English, their friendship was also highlighted during the show in which they spent the majority of their time together during the course of the show.
- Eunwon: Eunwon and Bailey became friends after greeting each other once when they passed by one another. Since then, the two of them have maintained a close friendship with one another, with Bailey offering advice when needed and Eunwon showing his support for the others endeavors. They have formed a strong bond with each other with both of them striving to push the other to achieve bigger and greater things.

On March 23, 2025, shortly after Eunwon released his first self-composed single, "sorry 4 being 2 cute", XOLAS' Bailey posted a now deleted-post on XOLAS' official Instagram account that read, "My baby Eunwon released a new song today, 'sorry 4 being 2 cute', and honestly its true, he is too cute, but thankfully all that cuteness is all mine hehe." While it lasted only a few moments before the post ended up being deleted, it was too late as fans worldwide took screenshots of the post. Neither YR Entertainment nor Blair Music have spoken out about the controversy.
Only 2 weeks after their initial scandal, Eunwon and Bailey were spotted together on what seemed to be a dinner date on April 3, 2025. Many fans argued that the two are just friends and that it makes no sense to jump to conclusions; however, many netizens were convinced they were indeed on a dinner date. Neither one of their companies has spoken out on the issue.

- During every ranking in DREAM TICKET he has always placed within the top 4, as well as having been the only trainee in the top 11 to have never gone lower then 4th place.
