Baek Min-ji (백민지; also known simply as Minji) is a Korean-Japanese singer under PY Studios. She is the lead vocalist and sub-rapper of BEAUDENT, as well as a former contestant on the reality survival show Carnival, and a former member of the ballad trio The Wind under the name Amin (아민).

Early Life[]

2015 - The Wind[]
On March 26th, under the name Amin, she was announced as a new member and the maknae of The Wind after member Youngjoo's departure. However, a month later, PY Studios announced she would be leaving the group after wanting to pursue further training. She was replaced by Seolhae.
Her addition to The Wind sparked controversy, as she was only 12 years old at the time of her addition. Due to this, Minji wanted to pursue further training so she can debut in another girl group in PY at an appropriate age. PY granted her wishes, and her departure was announced.
2019 - BEAUDENT[]
Sometime in 2019, Minji was revealed as a member of the group BEAUDENT. However, she left the group a couple weeks later for the same reason: further training. Minji then told the CEO she would be glad to rejoin BEAUDENT when Minji thought she was ready.
2022: Rejoining BEAUDENT[]
In September of 2022, Minji notified the CEO about her rejoining the group soon, after she claimed she was finally ready to debut. The CEO told her she would be rejoining the group in November.
On November 2, a BEAUDENT photo was revealed, showing 8 members, thus confirming Minji's return to the group. She debuted with the group on January 20, 2023, with the release of their second studio album The lies of the blood moon eclipse.
2023: Contestant on Carnival[]
On March 25, Minji was revealed as a contestant on the survival reality show Carnival. Unfortunately, she announced through an handwritten letter that she would be departing from the show.
