BOY to Kiss (보이트키스) is an eight-member boy-group under YR Entertainment. The group originally debuted as FANTASIZE on November 10, 2023 with their first single album, "FEELING", before rebranding as BOY to Kiss.
History[]
2023: Debut as FANTASIZE, Addition of Luan, BITE[]
On October 10, 2023, YR Entertainment revealed their upcoming boy group, FANTASIZE. On October 12, 2023, the first member, Chanbit, was revealed. On October 14, 2023, the second, Ivan, was revealed. On October 16, 2023, the third, Chaemin, was revealed. On October 18, 2023, the fourth, Younseon, was revealed. On October 20, 2023, the fifth, Lanzhu, was revealed. On October 22, 2023, the sixth, and final, Kazuyuki, was revealed.
On November 10, 2023, FANTASIZE's first single-album, "FEELING", was released. It had negative critical reception and was called "too sexual." The single ended up getting banned from music shows, however it was eventually adjusted to fit the standard.
On December 21, 2023, Luan was announced to be joining FANTASIZE as the seventh member. On the same day, their first mini-album BITE was teased.
2024: Re-formation as BOY to Kiss, 1st Mini Album, Chanbit Hiatus, Addition of Jin and Thorn, Chanbit's return[]
On January 6, 2024, YR Entertainment announced that the group's first comeback BITE was cancelled. Two days later, on January 8, it was announced that FANTASIZE would be rebranding as BOY to Kiss. Along with that, Younseon and Kazuyuki would be leaving, and YR Entertainment producer Harvey would be joining as the leader.
On January 21, 2024, YR Entertainment announced BOY to Kiss' anticipated comeback with the self-titled mini album, BOY to Kiss, along with the scheduler. On January 27, BOY to Kiss released the album along with the self-titled title track.
On July 22, 2024, it was announced that Chanbit would be going on an indefinite hiatus after being caught up in a scandal in which he incorrectly used his Bubble account to bad-mouth another artist.
On December 30, 2024, YR Entertainment announced the addition of Jin (진), also known as Fu Jin, and Thorn (손) to BOY to Kiss. Thus making them an 8-member group. It was also revealed that the group would make their comeback shortly after Chae Dahee's solo debut release. This will be their first release since January 2024. Along with the news about their comeback, it was also announced that Chanbit would be returning to the group after his 5 month long hiatus.
2025-present: Ice On My Teeth[]
On January 22, 2025, YR Entertainment announced that BOY to Kiss would be making their first comeback as 8 with their second mini album, Ice On My Teeth. The news had fans overjoyed as BOY to Kiss' most recent comeback had occurred on January 27, the prior year. YR Entertainment began the promotions of the album by releasing the first individual concept photo set which included pictures of Harvey, and Jin. Followed by Chanbit, Ivan. Thorn, Luan, Chaemin, and Lanzhu. Next, a group concept photo was released. And then the mini album's tracklist. On January 30, 2025, they finally released their anticipated comeback, Ice On My Teeth.
