BLUEVES (블루베스) is an upcoming 8 member South Korean Boy Group under YSY Entertainment. They will make their debut on April 28, 2023, with their first mini album Odd ColorS.
Prior to the group's official debut they released a digital single "Oh Blu" on February 2, 2023.
History[]
Pre-Debut: EYSEEI[]
On June 9, 2019, YSY Entertainment announced their trainee girl group going by the name ISEEY alongside the trainee boy group EYSEEI.
EYSEEI at the time of their introduction had 4 members, Kim Jaewoo, Kim Hyeongseo ,Liang Yitao, and Suh Woohan.
YSY Entertainment announced that their girl group ISEEY would be debuting first, then EYSEEI would be making their debut later as the project was revealed.
On December 31, 2019, YSY Entertainment announced two new trainees to join EYSEEI Kang Taejoon and Kim Chaebin
on July 19, 2020, YSY Entertainment announced they're adding two more trainees to EYSEEI, Park Heechan and Jung Kyeongseo.
On July 15, 2021, YSY Entertainment announced the new name for EYSEEI. The group would be going by the name BLUEVES, The name is the combination of the words BLUE, Virtual, Energy, Secrets. The reason of the groups name was because every member's favorite color is blue.
The same day YSY Entertainment announced that BLUEVES would be making their debut sometime in 2022, Because they're firstly focusing on SWESTAM's debut.
on July 30, 2022 YSY revealed that the group's debut has been postponed for 2023.
Debut:[]
On January 13, 2023, YSY Entertainment announced that BLUEVES's debut will be happening in April of 2023. The group will be releasing a mini album as of their first release consisting of 6 songs in total and 1 Pre-Release going by the name Oh Blu. The pre-release is set to be released on February 2, 2023 with a music video. There won't be a digital release until the release of the debut mini album.
On April 3, 2023, YSY Entertainment announced that BLUEVES's big awaited debut is going to be on April 28, 2023, with their first mini album "Odd ColorS".
2024-Present:[]
On January 1, 2024, YSY announced that BLUEVES would be coming back with their second mini album "be BluE". The mini would be released on January 24, 2024.
On October 9, 2024, YSY announced that BLUEVES would be making a comeback with their first full album "Blue Whisper". the album is scheduled for release on November 4, 2024.
