BLOSSOM (Korean: 블러썸; Japanese: ブラッサム; often stylized as BLOSƧOM; formerly known as BLOOM (여자블룸)) is a 6-member South Korean girl group under GoUp Entertainment. They made their debut on March 29, 2021 with the mini-album 'B: Blossoming'.

History[]

Pre-Debut:[]

GoUp Entertainment established on January 2019, And their first objective was to form and debut their first girl group. So they announced that they will be holding auditions throughout the whole year.

On October 19, 2020 the first member going by the name Suem was revealed as the first member of GoUp Girls. The second member Hayeon was revealed on October 25, 2020. The third member Nogyeun (now Nellie) was revealed on November 1.

The company stated that the remaining 3 members would be revealed throughout November. Confirming the lineup for the group to be 6 members.

On November 15, 2020 it was revealed that the girls would go by the name BLOOM.

On November 16, The fourth member Seowon and fifth member Xeheun were revealed, The company announced that the last member N would be revealed on November 20.

GoUp Entertainment announced that BLOOM will also have their first Pre-Debut single called Go Up Girl on December 17. While expecting to announce the official debut for the group really soon.

Go Up Girl is a Refreshment track for the girls, which will be included on their debut mini-album. It's a potential debut song with dance elements.

In November 20, GoUp Entertainment revealed the final member of BLOOM Nuha, completing the final lineup for the group.

In February 17, 2021 GoUp Entertainment revealed that BLOOM will debut on March 29, 2021 with the Mini-Album 'B: Blossoming'

2021-2022:[]

In October 6, 2021, GoUp Entertainment announced that BLOOM will make their first comeback on November 9, 2021 with their second mini album "L: Tree of Nature"

on January 6, 2022, GoUp Entertainment announced that the group will have a pre-release, releasing on February 22, 2022 Titled 24/7.

on August 23, 2022, GoUp Entertainment revealed that the group would be making a comeback on September 20, 2022, with their third mini album Saccharine with Sweet Scent as the title track, the previous release 24/7 is not included in the album.

2023-Present: Name change to BLOSSOM, Japanese Debut, Line-up change.[]

On January 6, 2023, GoUp Entertainment announced that BLOOM would change their name to BLOSSOM (stylized as BLOSƧOM) for a slight change towards the group since the previous name seemed a little bit too outdated for the members and the company. The agency also announced that the group are preparing for their first comeback as BLOSSOM.

On March 1, 2023, GoUp Entertainment revealed that BLOSSOM will make a comeback with their fourth mini album "Flowered" Set for release on March 27, 2023.

On November 1, 2023, GoUp Entertainment revealed that BLOSSOM would make a comeback with their first album "I Bloom". The album is set for release on November 27, 2023. A teaser film was uploaded that same day on the group's YouTube channel.

On January 1, 2024, SOURCE ON Japan announced that BLOSSOM would be making their official Japanese debut in March 13, 2024 with the digital single "Highlight".

On August 5, 2024, GoUp Entertainment announced that BLOSSOM would be making a comeback with their fifth mini album "DAISI", the mini would be released on August 26, 2024. The mini originally was scheduled for July but was pushed to late August due to Nellie's schedule with Soli7are.

On December 1, 2024, GoUp Entertainment announced that Meredith, along BLOSSOM and CSY would be releasing a collaborative single "Pretty Girl Christmas" on December 16, 2024.

On December 4, 2024, GoUp Entertainment announced that Nuha would be departing from the group for personal reasons and that BLOSSOM would continue as a 5-piece going on forward.

On December 16, 2024, SOURCE ON Japan announced that BLOSSOM would be making their first Japanese comeback on January 20, 2025, with their second single "Doodle / DAISI -Japanese Ver.-", it also marks the first official release of the group as 5 members.

On February 1, 2025, GoUp Entertainment announced that Koeun would be joining BLOSSOM.

On March 3, 2025, GoUp Entertainment announced that BLOSSOM would be making their next comeback with their sixth mini album "ReBloom". The mini would be released on March 31, 2025. It marks the group's first Korean release since Nuha's departure and Koeun's addition to the group.
