Kwon Joo Hyun (권주현), better known by her stage name Aurin (오린), is a South Korean singer, dancer, producer and actress under Studio NICE. She is the leader, main dancer and lead vocalist of the girl group VALIA.
Career[]
2016 - 2018: SM Rookies, acting debut[]
On September 19, 2016, Joo Hyun was revealed as a new member of the trainee team SMROOKIES, alongside Ningning and Yiyang.
In 2016, Joo Hyun, Koeun, Hina & Lami danced to Girls' Generation's song "Gee" at SM Coex Artium.
In September 2016, she was part of segment of My SMT along with fellow rookies Koeun, Hina, Ningning and Yiyang. Later in 2017-2018, she along with actress Park Jung Yeon, Koeun, Hina and Ningning sang several OST for the MBC animated series Shining Star.
In 2018, she made her acting debut in the drama Girls' Generation 1979.
2020: Departure from SM Entertainment and New Agency[]
On June 20, 2020, it was reported that Joo Hyun left SM Entertainment due to personal reasons. On July 14, 2020, on Studio NICE's website Joo Hyun's profile was posted, officialy confirming that she left SM Entertainment and joined Studio NICE.
2022 - present: VALIANT HEART, VALIA, CONTRAST[]
On February 14, 2022, she became a contestant on Studio NICE's newest survival show, VALIANT HEART. She finished the survival in 3rd place, hence becoming a member of the girl group VALIA. The group officially debuted on July 2, 2022 with their first mini album CONTRAST.
