augment (오그먼트; sometimes stylized in all caps AUGMENT) is an upcoming 8-members South Korean boy group under LIFE LABEL. They were formed through the survival-reality show I-Dream β, they're expected to make their big debut sometime in 2025.
History[]
Pre-debut:[]
On March 1, 2024, SBC dropped the first teaser for I-Dream α, which would form an original girl group. they also announced that a sequel would be coming in 2025 focusing on Boy Groups called I-Dream β
On January 6, 2025, SBC revealed that I-Dream β would premiere on January 24, 2025. They revealed that the final episode would be livestreamed just like the past seasons on March 28, 2025. This time, 7 boys would be selected as members of the boy group.
2025-Present:[]
On March 28, 2025, on the finale of the show, the final line-up was revealed with now 8 boys making their debut instead of 7. The members ranking from 1-8: Brandon Heo, Tsutoya, Park Taewon, Nana, Xing Junsheng, Kim Serom, Ma Jinhuei and Ri. Shortly after the members were revealed, the group name was announced to be augment, with the meaning that the chosen members are pieces that will make the group stand out for a greater purpose.
On March 31, 2025, the group's official SNS accounts were opened and pictures were released.
On April 7, 2025, the group held their first live where they revealed the fandom name AACHI, which is an abbreviation for Aimers who Achive, and they revealed that the leader of the group is Taewon.
