Asiavision Song Contest 2023, or ASC2023 for short, is the second edition of the Asiavision Song Contest. The contest took place in Beijing, China, organised by China's national broadcaster CCTV, following Mia Lee's victory in previous year with her song "Give It". It is the second time in the row the contest takes place in China.
Twenty six countries participated this year. The contest was won by Xao, representing Laos with song "Gladiator", which collected 311 points, 58 over the runner-up - Canada.

Beijing (/beɪˈdʒɪŋ/ bay-JING; Chinese: 北京; pinyin: Běijīng; Mandarin pronunciation: [pèɪ.tɕíŋ]), alternatively romanized as Peking (/piːˈkɪŋ/ pee-KING), is the capital of the People's Republic of China. With over 21 million residents, Beijing is the world's most populous national capital city as well as China's second largest city after Shanghai. It is located in Northern China, and is governed as a municipality under the direct administration of the State Council with 16 urban, suburban, and rural districts. Beijing is mostly surrounded by Hebei Province with the exception of neighboring Tianjin to the southeast; together, the three divisions form the Jingjinji megalopolis and the national capital region of China.

The Wukesong Arena (simplified Chinese: 五棵松体育馆; traditional Chinese: 五棵松體育館; pinyin: Wǔkēsōng Tǐyùguǎn), also known as the Cadillac Arena (simplified Chinese: 凯迪拉克中心; traditional Chinese: 凱迪拉克中心; pinyin: Kǎidílākè Zhōngxīn) for sponsorship purposes, is a multipurpose indoor arena in Beijing. It was originally built for the 2008 Summer Olympics basketball preliminaries and finals. Ground was broken on 29 March 2005 and construction was completed on 11 January 2008. The stadium has a capacity of 19,000 and covers an area of 63,000 square metres. It includes a modern, flexible ice hockey rink designed and produced by Finnish rink manufacturer Vepe Oy in November 2016. In 2022, the arena hosted some of the ice hockey matches as part of the 2022 Winter Olympics.

- Armenia originally confirmed participation, but withdrew from the contest shortly after announcement of the competing countries list for unkown reasons, the country was replaced by special guest - Tuva
- Azerbaijan announced it's withdrawal from the contest without stating a reason
- Georgia 's broadcaster announced withdrawal from the contest due to limited budget and focus on European projects
- Tajikistan confirmed interest in debuting in the contest in 2022, however financial situation forced country to again hold it's debut plans for future. Tajik broadcaster confirmed broadcast and plans for debut in future
- Turkiye withdrew from the contest due to low public inetrest and unsatysfying result in previous year
