Asahi (朝日) is a Japanese singer and dancer under Shingyu Studio. He is a member of ANP's Japanese unit ANP NF and a former member of the trainee co-ed project The INTERDIMENSIONAL Project.
Early Life[]
Asahi was born in Okinawa, Japan. He is Zainichi-Korean, as his maternal grandmother is Korean.
Career[]
2020: The INTERDIMENSIONAL Project[]
On July 13, Asahi was introduced as the third male member and the thirteenth overall member of the trainee co-ed project group The INTERDIMENSIONAL Project. He participated in the group's first release "T.I.P Vol. 1".
He was presumed to have left the group after he had created an Instagram account.
2024-present: ANSHINGYU, ANP NF[]
Sometime in 2024, he joined trainee program ANSHINGYU.
On November 11, 2024, Shingyu Studio announced that ANP had formed its last sub-unit of 2024, ANP NF. With the NF standing for "New Fusion", the sub-unit was introduced as the group's third exclusive sub-unit and the group's first "country" unit, as ANP NF will be primarily promoting in Japan. The number of members was revealed to be 6, consisting of those from ANSHINGYU. According to the company, ANP NF will be debuting in December with a single. Asahi was announced as a member the next day.
