Feng Chun Yung is a Hong Kongese-Malaysian singer under DIVISION ONE Entertainment and it's Chinese branch DIVISION China. Althrough he is based in South Korea, he trains in China. He is the member of Chinese branch of trainee team DIVISION X.
Background[]
Feng Chun Yung was born as Foong Chun-yeng in Tsue Wan, Hong Kong on May 5, 2003 as the first and older child of Malaysian Chinese father and Hong Kongese mother. At age 7, he along with his family moved to Kuala Lampur, Malaysia when he attended Chinese school. He was called by the teachers as Fung Choon-yung, however the family of Feng decided to recive citzenship of Malaysia only after a few years. In 2015, he began posting covers through Instagram. One of them was saw by OXH Agency's agent, who contacted him, but Feng denied his offer. However in 2017, he changed his mind, moved to Korea and joined OXH. Feng was revealed exacly on his 14th birthday on May 5, 2017. During his training years under OXH, he was close to debut in XIONER and Skymoon (both are Malaysian-based Chinese-Hong Kongese groups; Feng is close to the members of both groups), but sadly Feng decided to not debut to improve his skills. In late 2021, he left OXH and on January 3, 2022 he annouced that he will join DIVISION ONE Entertainment and DIVISION China.
