Adam and the Sock Puppet (아담과 양말 인형) is an independent South Korean band formed in Daegu City, South Korea in 2018. The group is currently fronted by Kwon Janghun.
Career[]
In July 2019, Adam and the Sock Puppet released their self-titled debut studio album to streaming platforms and local retailers.
In November 2020, Adam and the Sock Puppet released their first single album Phenomenon, featuring three tracks. At the 2021 MBS Artist Awards, they were nominated for two categories namely Best Band and Best Metal/Rock Recording.
In April 2025, it was revealed that Adam and the Sock Puppet's lead vocalist Kwon Janghun will feature on Xavier Luna's debut studio album XAVI, on track #7 (Gasoline or Dopamine?) As a result, the band earned their first entry on the Circle Digital Chart, after the track debuted and peaked at #49.

Other ventures[]
The band is known for their unconditional support for the LGBTQIA+ community in South Korea. Proceeds for some of their events and album releases are donated to charities. In 2019, they participated as a performing act in an event called GyuPaul's Drag Race which is meant to showcase the talents of aspiring independent drag artists in Seoul.
