Adalat Kodirova (Adalat Qodirova; 아달랏 코디로바) also known as Adalat, is a Uzbek-Korean singer-songwriter under Quail Records.
She made her solo debut on January 4, 2017 with the single "Be Like Me".
Early life[]
Adalat was born as Adalat Kodirova (Adalat Qodirova) on January 14, 2000, in Tashkent, Uzbekistan. Under her English name Adaliz Kodirova, she lived in Trenton, New Jersey, for ten years before returning to Uzbekistan. As a result, she speaks both English and Uzbek. Her family moved to Wenzhou, China, under the Chinese name Alix Qodirova, for three years until returning to Uzbekistan. She later moved to Almaty, Kazahkstan, to pursue her music career in the country. She graduated from Suleyman Demirel University, majoring in Translation Studies. She auditioned for Juz Entertainment and was a trainee prior to joining Quail Records. Adalat trained for one year before debuting, and had been dancing for 2–4 years. She revealed that she almost quit attending dance classes at some point due to financial issues.

2017: Be Like Me[]
On January 4, 2017, she debuted as a solo artist with the single "Be Like Me". The song had international promotion in countries like South Korea, Japan, and China. However, the song was criticised for plagiarizing K-pop girl group Bee-Gals' song "Oh Yeah Ah Yeah," but it was revealed that they had the same producers.
