Achu (아쿠) is a Swedish-American singer with Lebanese and Korean roots under HEXAGON Label. He is a member of the boy group CARPE DIEM.
Early Life[]
Achu was born as Achu Andersson in Beirut, Lebanon to a Korean-American mother and a Swedish-Lebanese father. His family moved to Atlanta when he was only 2 years old. He lived in Atlanta until age 11, when his family decided to move to Sweden. In 2022, Achu was scouted by HIEX Creative, soon being moved to HEXAGON Label, where he trained at until being announced as a member of CARPE DIEM.
Career[]
2021: Talang 2021[]
On January 15, Achu was featured in the first episode of Talang 2021, the Swedish Got Talent series. He was eliminated in the final, placing 4th.
2024: CARPE DIEM[]
On March 22, he was revealed as the second member of CARPE DIEM.
