Stories |
Ace Bellecourt (에이스 벨쿠르), is a Korean-American street dancer and trainee of Native American descent under North Star Creative. He is a member of the trainee team NORTHSTARRY and the former member of the trainee team TENROOKIES.
He is best known for being contestants on the South Korean reality survival show, INFINITEEZ: The Reverse Project as his Korean name Moon Haejun and DREAM TICKET.
History[]
Career[]
2009-2012: Debut as a Street Dancer[]
2013-2015: Millennium Dance Complex[]
Ace attended and took classes in Millennium Dance Complex since he was 14. He made a lot of friends and rivals in the dance academy. However, this doesn't last long, as he quit after two years.
2015-2021: TENROOKIES, INFINITEEZ: The Reverse Project, NFB Project[]
2021-present: NORTHSTARRY[]
Personality[]
Ace is known to be an easy-going and unabashed trainee, something that the younger trainees look up to him often (and as a result skips practice). He presents himself as a cool leader and doesn't take things seriously, despite his handsome face. Because of this, he gets compared by trainees with Richard, a master in perfection and loathes laziness (which Ace does pretty often), and Moonhyung, a trainee that wins the judges favor due to his hard work. Due to his extensive experience in dance and his hobby in writing raps, he is called an "Ace" for a reason. Ace had a confident glint in his eyes that he is about to eat up the stage. He doesn't mind competition and he has low expectations, although he would LOVE to be surprised by his challenger's talent. He would show his signature smirk every time he is on the stage, and let his skills do the job. Trainees can outdo him in singing, but they would be destroyed by this particular "dance machine". One thing's for sure, he make things look easy. You will be grateful if he's on your team, but you wouldn't want him to be your rival.
People say its talent, but Ace has build up his skills in secret due to his parents opposing his dreams. He is an extremely slow learner, and compiled with him chasing his dreams with his own money at such a young age, he never got a chance to pursue high school. As such, he thinks with his own instinct. Ace became increasingly jealous and insecure to his peers achievements at such a young age, and often thought he should stop "idol-life". He also feels outcasted by people in his life due to his diverse upbringing. He never shut up and disobey orders, in a way his friends in Korea does. He also feels very sensitive to his identity and is "out of the norm", prompting him to have less friends. Ace gained confidence in his passion for dance and rap, in order to vent his rage.
