Cho In-su (조인수), known professionally as Aaron Cho, is a South Korean singer under 24D Entertainment. He is best known as a former member of project co-ed group Randomize, and also previously debuted as part of boy bands LAVA.B and ORCHID, the latter of which was formed from survival program TURBO MAX. In addition, he was also a former contestant of 2022 reality survival audition program 7 Tiers (2022).
In June 2025, Aaron made his debut with the single "A Dozen Reasons", which became a sleeper hit after his live vocal performance at Hangang's Mystery Coffee Shop went viral on YouTube Reels. Transitioning to the gospel scene of South Korea, he released his debut studio album Service You, which achieved unusual crossover success in K-pop and religious radio formats. Since then, Aaron has been considered as one of the biggest gospel singers in South Korea, with two albums certified Platinum by the Korean Music Content Association (KMCA).
Early life[]
Cho In-Su was born on November 30, 1997 in Incheon, South Korea. His family consists of his mother, his father and his younger brother. Growing up he always enjoyed singing, but never took it seriously. In middle school he began listening to more R&B music, and grew an interest in making his own music one day. He studied music education at university, and following his graduation in 2019, he began posting song covers on Youtube on his guitar. A few months later, he was discovered by C9 Entertainment, and he took part in their online auditions, making it through as a trainee.
Career[]
2022[]
From May to July 2022, Insu participated in KBS2 survival program Turbo Max. He would finish in 7th place, becoming a member of ORCHID. The group made their debut in September 2022 with the mini album Bloom; they would disband in early 2023 after it was revealed that the group was only a one time project.
2023[]
Compared to others, Insu openly showed his disappointment with how short his experience as an idol was under ORCHID and felt down momentarily; however, as a mature individual, he also acknowledged that the circumstances are beyond his control. He realized that it is best for him to continue moving forward to continue his path of being an idol, despite being on the older age of trainees.
On May 1, 2023, Insu redebuted as part of project co-ed group Randomize, adopting the stage name of Aaron. Their debut EP, Randopolis, was a commercial success, selling over 160,000 physical and digital copies.
Personal life[]
Personality[]
- Just from being around Insu, you can tell he is very disciplined. Growing up close to his parents with a brother 5 years younger than him, he has learnt how to behave to keep a group away from problems. He is also very considerate and is the type of person you'd vent to because he has the best advice.
Friendships[]
- Daejung (ex-ORCHID): Insu and Daejung were the dads of ORCHID, cooking the members breakfast and keeping everyone safe during schedules. Their ship name, Eojiz comes from the formal word for father in Korean 'abeoji'. When they are paired together, they are the calmest it can get.
- Hana (C9PID): The '97 line of 32 MEDIA. They have only interacted on screen during the Turbo Max finale behind clip, but said they have been friends since Insu joined the company.
