AXILAI (액실라이) is an upcoming seven-member girl group under SYNK IN. Formed through the survival show Starborn Stage, their debut date is currently unknown.
The symbolism behind the name, a mixture of galaxy and axis was that each star resides in a solar system, and each solar system in a galaxy. If the members are the stars, then it takes all of the group to become a galaxy. As a group, AXILAI will revolve around their fans, and their fans will revolve around AXILAI, on an axis.

Final lineup for Starborn Stage
On November 29, 2024, SYNK IN released a notice that they were looking for trainees through their global audition titled 2024 SYNK IN Global Auditions, held from November 29-January 1.
On January 17, 2025, Kim Jeongsim (SYNK IN CEO) revealed they would begin a survival show for SYNK IN’s next girl group starting in January of 2025. They also announced they would release teasers starting on January 24th.
On April 5, 2025, the live finale of the show Starborn Stage aired, revealing the final lineup of the group, consisting of Son Kyoung in first, Ha Yooin in second, Nim Kasen in third, Melody in fourth, Suzume in fifth, Choi So-Dan in sixth, and Himig Cantal in seventh.
On April 7, 2025, SYNK IN released an announcement regarding stage names of the group members going forward. Son Kyoung as Soyoung, Ha Yooin as Hayin, Nim Kasen as Kasen, Melody Mendoza as Melody, Suzume Kusakabe as Suzume, Choi So-Dan as Danah, and Himig Cantal as Himig.
On April 17, 2025, it was announced that AXILAI would be an opening act for rm8z's Seoul concerts of their rm8z -observing the world- World Tour on April 26, 2025.
On May 27, 2025, the first profile pictures of the group were released.
