Axenn (Pronouced Axe-Enn) is a polish soloist who debuted on the 1st of may with the single album "SMILE!". He's the first polish soloist under MKM media, and the Main vocalist of the boygroup Syndicate.
Backstory[]
He was born Jan rozmanowski, in lublin on 12th of february 2000. He was born in a big family, his father dad : Jacek rozmanowski being a tv presentor in poland, and his mother : Edyta rozmanowska being the creator of a makeup company, meanwhile his siblings and himself were mostly inspired by music and being in any type of musical or entertainment type industry like their parents. He was a cheerful boy, he had a heart of gold and grew up in a loving, supportive and a musical family.
His first major appearance in the industry when him and his family participated in the tv show "Nasz nowy dom" when Jan was only 13. He was also famous on youtube even before joining MKM Media, as he was shown on a lot of performances he did in theatre and in events before he became big with his unexpected debut which came next.
He studied at the University of Warsaw before he dropped out to persue music. He lived in london for some time, but then he moved to seoul. Then he joined mkm media, as a photographer and stylist. thanks to his cousin : Bjorn from R.C.O.
He also was a photographer for mkm media artists, possibly making some iconic photoshoots for groups such as BL()()M, R.C.O, Valentina_com and roadrunner (like in graphic design for roadrunner since they are animated)
Unexpected debut with "SMILE!"[]
On may 1st, MKM Media dropped the music video for Axenn's lead single "SMILE!" that was both korean and english. Netizens compared Axenn to the soloist Lana thanks to his debut, and it was gathering popularity, and a small fanbase. His concept from his debut was more high school themed, inspired by music videos like Ditto (newjeans) and Eunoia (BILLLIE).
"SMILE!" as a single album also included the track "One missed call", a much softer song than "SMILE!". The track was also entirely in english, and showed more of his vocal range, which was a shocker to fans due to him using his deeper tone in "SMILE!"
Other then that, he didnt do much promotion for the song.
He also included in the project Danganronpa: Idols are Dead which he noticed and loved the series as a whole, mentioning it in livestreams from time to time.
LOVEMELOVEME Era.[]
It all began on may 29th annoucing the debut through a short video with clues. and officialy annouced the release date will be 14th of june, along with a promotional concert to go with it called "Loveme prom".
14th of June, "LOVEMELOVEME" releases, one out of 4 albums of a possibly trilogy that fans call the "ME Trilogy". The release was already hyped, making him one of the many talked about subjects in korean media and other international kpop forums for being the first fully polish idols to debut solo, and still get the same hype as any group or soloist.
He also got recognition for his looks and talent, giving him the title of "Poland's IT boy", it has already been 164 days since his debut and he already got such a title, and a fanbase that got bigger each time.
The promotions for the album ran from june 14th to july 2nd. Which from then he gave hints to the next release.
Ja Jestem (Polish debut) Era.[]
On July 19th, 2023. Axenn was spotted back at his homecountry through paparazzi, as he was following to get interviewed on the famous poland morning show : "Dzień dobry TVN." He talked about his backstory at MKM, a upcoming show in wrocław, and finally.. a polish debut, 5 weeks after his korean debut. (and extra, he performed "need a break" during the morning show, a fan favourite)
Earlier before the morning show, concept photos got released for the album, depicting him in y2k style, going through a purple mystery tunnel that was located in a cafe.
The wrocław show went sucsessful, not only from his amazing performance in his own home country, but also for his viral twitter moment of him switching his hair colour from dark-blonde to platinum blonde.
He returned to korea on 12th of august due to him being apart of the lineup in MBS AQUABOMB, but still planned to come back to poland for a bit for the last bit of promotions before his album release.
FORGIVEMEFORGIVEME Era.[]
Around november-december, his concept photos and tracklist released for the album, throughout his world tour happening in his home country. On december 19th, the album got released, which where he performed his title track on MBS Musical clash. Also ending up producing a lot of songs in the beginng of january during the era. Also letting people to believe "Forgiveme prom" will be happening soon.
At new years, he released a 3 piece single album titled "CHARISMA", with the self-titled song "CHARISMA", being a comeback to the haters and the unfair yet slightly creepy treatent he's been getting from older netizens and sasaengs, yet also showing more of his dance skills in live performances. "BATTER UP" Being a more rap based track, with more focusing as well on his rapping. And finally "GODS" Being a powerful track giving more onto his vocal side. 3 songs showing 3 aspects of AXENN's talent.
SYNDICATE Annoucment[]
On the 5th of february, it officially got annouced that the polish artist will participate in the boygroup : SYNDICATE managed by both EKLEIPSIS Entertainment and MKM Media as the Main Vocalist, Rapper & FOTG.
Danganronpa: Idols are Dead[]
AXENN is featured as one of the characters of the fictional murder mystery Danganronpa: Idols are Dead. He was invited to Heaven's Entertainment 3rd Annual Gala Dinner as the Ultimate Smiler - recognized for his talent as a photographer and cinematographer. As the story's protagonist, Kamikura Shion, the Ultimate Poet, saw it, he was both fortunate and unfortunate to have been noticed by a major company like Heaven's after only a month of debuting. As a result, he was kidnapped along with fifteen other idols to participate in the Killing Survival Show, which was hosted by Monokuma and was believed to have been orchestrated by Heaven's Entertainment.
In the story, AXENN stands out as the sole person who managed to keep hold of his cherished possession, namely his beloved camera named Amelia, which has been a staple in his photography career. He exhibits an eccentric personality, demonstrated by his tendency to assign names to every object he feels a connection with, such as the plants in the Shrine of Judgment. Despite his boisterous and hyper demeanor, coupled with his role as the ultimate hypeman, AXENN maintains a sense of politeness owing to his junior status among the group. He addresses everyone with titles like "Mister" and "Miss," exuding positivity and often speaking in a loud manner that, at times, can be overwhelming for Shion. However, in the midst of the bleak circumstances they face, AXENN's upbeat nature becomes a necessary source of upliftment. Alongside Hyunah and Riah, AXENN contributes significantly to the group's morale as the designated moodmaker.
Personality[]
According to his siblings, he is usually quite shy and introverted when you first meet him, but throughout the time he will get more and more hyper and fun to be around. He is a big party animal and lights up every room with his humour and presence.
He's also very sweet to everyone, mostly his siblings but, he is just the "guy that has no enemies" in some way. Did i mention he's also the funniest guy you'll ever meet? welp, now you know!
But also he is very open about talking about topics that are important to discuss. He always speaks with his mind and is very honest.
