AUTONOË (alternatively stylised as autonoë; Korean: 오토노) is an upcoming five-member girl group under Olympic Records. They are scheduled to debut in 2025.
They will release a pre-debut digital single on March 25, 2025.
History[]
Pre-Debut[]
On October 21, 2024, insider news leaks and images revealed that Olympic Records intend to launch a new girl group in the first quarter of 2025. Although the exact number of members is unconfirmed, the leaks reported four or five to be possible number with six members being the maximum and that CEO Shin Maegeun had handpicked them. Their concept and style is said to be different from existing Olympic Entertainment artists. The leaker asserted that the group would be Olympic's final brand new venture for the foreseeable future.[1]
On December 27, 2024, Olympic Records revealed the first member, Sylvie, ahead of debut through their website following an online poll. In an announcement made on Instagram the same day by CEO Shin Mae-Geun it was confirmed that the group would debut with a five-member line-up.
On February 16, 2025, Olympic Records revealed the second member following a second online poll. Sophie was confirmed to be the second member debuting.
On February 23, it was announced that AUTONOË would release a pre-debut single on March 25, in collaboration with labelmate After School Club.
On March 5, Rue was revealed as the third member.
On March 8, Fallon was revealed as the fourth member.
On March 11, Posie was revealed as the fifth and final member.
