ASTERISM (아스테리즘) is an 10-Member South Korean Boy Group under NEBULA. Originally as 12, They were formed through the survival show Planetary Boys 100 on the finale. They debuted on July 3, 2022 with their first mini album Grasp of the Starlight.
History[]
Pre-Debut: Planetary Boys 100[]
Right after the finale of Planetary Girls 100, Planetary Boys 100 was announced to begin on January 2022 and that auditions were held secretively.
The show premiered on January 7, 2021 till April 1, 2022 and on the finale the top 12 contestants would be making their debut as ASTERISM. The boys ranking from 1st to 12th are as following: Ahn Juyoon, Jason Wang, Bang Rayoon, Wang Yihan, Ezaki Amaru, Uehara Rin, Bunmi Tim, Kang Yujun, Kim Seojun, Maeda Goni, Han Suwoon and Kim Hyunkyu. The boys will be debuting sometime in 2022.
Debut:[]
On May 14, 2022, NEBULA+ announced that the group would make their big debut on July 3, 2022, with their first mini album Grasp of the Starlight.
2023-Present:[]
On March 5, 2023, NEBULA+ revealed that the group will make their first comeback with their second mini album Alienated. The mini is set for release on March 28, 2023.
On January 3, 2024, NEBULA+ revealed that Kang Yujun and Kim Hyunkyu would be leaving the group due to personal reasons. The agency revealed that ASTERISM would continue promoting as 10-members from now on. The agency also announced that the group will comeback with their first full album sometime in the first half of the year.
On April 19, 2024, NEBULA revealed that ASTERISM would make their awaited comeback on May 15, 2024, with their first Full Album ReBirth.
