ANWRLD (새로운월드) is the eight-member collaborative unit between unlimited-member boy groups ANP and seVenwrld. Consisting of 3 ANP members (Baekhyeon, Seonwon, and Seungjong), 3 seVenwrld members (Ruohan, Itto, and Dantae), 1 ANP Death Angelz member (Sehwan), and 1 COSMONAUTS member (Tiago), they made their debut on March 22, 2024, with the mini album A New WRLD.
The name is a portmanteau of ANP and seVenwrld, and means "A New WRLD".
History[]
Pre-debut[]
On January 26, 2024, the CEOs of cosmichaus amd Shingyu Studio (Alistar Kim and Han Yunmook) announced that ANP and seVenwrld would be collaborating in the new unit ANWRLD. Keeping on par with seVenwrld's voting system, the lineup would be decided by a fan vote, and that other than ANP and seVenwrld, selected trainees from ANSHINGYU and COSMONAUTS, as well as selected members of ANP Death Angelz would participate in the voting. The announcement was ended with the detail that the unit will debut in March.
On February 8, 3 ANP members (Baekhyeon, Seonwon, and Seungjong), 3 seVenwrld members (Ruohan, Itto, and Dantae), 1 ANP Death Angelz member (Sehwan), and 1 COSMONAUTS member (Tiago), were confirmed as members as they had placed the highest in the votes.
2024-present: Debut with A New WRLD, first comeback[]
On March 9, it was announced that the unit will debut on March 22, with the mini album A New WRLD.
On June 23, it was reported that ANWRLD will make their first comeback sometime in July with a new album. They are expected to release 2 pre-release singles in 2 units of 4. A week later, the first pre-release single "Ah Oh (Eye)" was announced.
