ANP S.O.T.A (새로운 길 최신 기술) is the tenth sub-unit of ANP and the third rotational unit. The unit consists of Seulzin, Irang, Kameron, Kiron, Eunchong, Jora, and Jongryul. The unit released their first single album "Project 1 - Art" on October 4, 2024.
The unit serves as a "nurturing point" for voted ANSHINGYU trainees to debut in ANP, where voted ANSHINGYU trainees will release songs to either pass off as a one-act release or a unit release.
History[]
2024-present: Formation, "Project 1 - Art", "Project 2 - Creativity"[]
On August 28, 2024, a new member reveal system was announced, where selected trainees from ANSHINGYU will participate in votes to reveal which trainee(s) will be joining ANP. Fans can vote for a selected number of trainees, while members can "endorse" certain trainees, providing a boost to the trainee(s). These elected trainees will release a non-promotional song where it will be passed off as either a solo project or a unit release.
On September 26, 2024, ANP S.O.T.A was announced as the tenth overall unit. The unit aims to "nurture" ANSHINGYU trainees that were voted into joining ANP. The first 3 elected trainees are expected to release a song before joining ANP. 6 days later, Jewon, Kangmin, and Qi were announced to have placed in the top 3 of the voting and thus will be added to ANP. The unit plans to release their first single album titled "Project 1 - Art" on October 4.
On December 1, 2024, plans for a second member entry were announced, as 3 trainees were introduced as trainees participating in the project. On December 14, 2024, Seulzin, Irang, Kiron, Kameron, Eunchong. Jora, and Jongryul were announced to have placed in the top 7 and therefore would be added to ANP and as new members of ANP S.O.T.A. The next day, the unit announced their second single album "Project 2 - Creativity".
