ACE of spades (에이스 오프 스페이드스 or ILLUMINUM/ACE) is the first up-coming sub-unit of the girl group ILLUMINUM. They're going to debut on April 28, 2023, with their first EP "Associate".

Pre-Debut:[]
On January 10, 2023, BLiSS Entertainment announced that they're going to open a voting site for fans to pick out 5-members for ILLUMINUM's first sub-unit ACE of spades with the members revealed so far, another article was published that more members would be revealed after ACE of spades debuts.
The voting would start on January 12, 2023 and would last till January 19, 2023 and the line-up would be revealed on January 20, 2023.
Debut:[]
on January 20, 2023, 12 AM KST, the line-up for ACE of spades was revealed to consist: Minsoo, Jannet, Yeram, Hareum and Sanyu. The company stated that the unit would most likely make their debut by the end of April of the same year.
On March 30, 2023, BLiSS Entertainment revealed that ACE of spades will debut on April 28, 2023 with their first EP "Associate".
