7pm (Korean: 숨바꼭질) is a four member boy group formed by Smiling Records. The group made their debut on May 23, 2009 with the mini album Sky High.

History[]

2009: Pre-debut[]

On April 23, 2009 Smiling Records trademarked the name "7pm" and "숨바꼭질" and the 7pm logo.

On April 25, 2009 Smiling Records launched 7pm's official SNS accounts and revealed two members Doojoon and Yoseob.

On April 27, 2009 Smiling Records revealed the two remaining members Gikwang and Dongwoon.

On May 4, 2009 Smiling Records unveiled the debut scheduler for 7pm.

2009-2012: Debut with "SKY HIGH"[]

On May 23, 2009 7pm made their debut with their mini album 'SKY HIGH'.

On October 21, 2009 7pm made their first comeback with their studio album 'BROKEN LIGHT'.

On February 23, 2010 7pm made their comeback with their second mini album 'GIVEN'.

2012-2014: Comeback with "BROKEN" and "BLESS"[]

On June 14, 2012 7pm made their comeback with their third mini album 'BROKEN'.

On October 12, 2013 7pm made their comeback with their fourth mini album 'BLESS'.

2014-2016: Comeback with "HEAVEN SENT", Japanese debut and contract renewal[]

On September 24, 2014 7pm made their comeback with their fifth mini album 'HEAVEN SENT'.

On February 12, 2015 7pm made their Japanese debut with the release of their repackaged BLESS album.

On May 23, 2016 Smiling Records announced that 7pm had renewed their 7-year exclusive contract with the company.

2017-2019: Comeback with "STARS" and special holiday album "Holiday Loop"[]

On September 3, 2017 7pm made their comeback with their second studio album 'STARS'.

On December 25, 2018 7pm released a special holiday album called 'Holiday Loop'.

2019-2020: Seven O'Clock[]

On May 2, 2019, Smiling Records announced that 7pm would be releasing an album on May 23. Seven O'Clock is an anthology album that looks back at the group's ten-year history and contains seven new tracks.

2020-2021: Two year hiatus[]

On January 23, 2020 7pm announced that they would be going on hiatus for a couple years.

On December 31, 2021 7pm announced that they would be returning in 2022 after a two year hiatus.

2022: Comeback with "CRAZY IN LOVE" after two year hiatus[]

On June 10, 2022 Smiling Records announced that 7pm would be finally getting their long awaited comeback after a two year hiatus, the last album by 7pm was "TEMPTATION" released in March 2020. Smiling Records shared a teaser on the groups SNS with a picture and text saying "Born To Love And Hate". Smiling Records also stated that the comeback would be the groups fourth studio album and is set to release on July 10, 2022.

2023: Contract renewal, Best album 13&4 and 7AM : Its Time World Tour[]

On January 14, 2023, Smiling Records announced that all four members of the group has decided to re-sign their 7-year contract with the company.

On April 13, 2023 7pm announced that they would be releasing their first ever Best album titled 13&4. The album went on to set new and break records. On August 23, 2023 Smiling Records announced the 7AM : Its Time World Tour 2023-2024 which is still currently ongoing.
