2025 SYNK IN Trainee Showcase is the first annual SYNK IN Trainee Showcase. It took place on January 1, 2025 at the National Theater of Korea. These showcases help to evaluate a trainee’s readiness for debut, or the amount of improvement they have made. If a team overall gets average of 95 or higher, they are debut ready, and will go through a couple of months of practice before their debut. The teams are chosen by the trainees, and creating a performance is entirely up to them.
The ranks a team can have is Low, meaning the team has much to prepare still, medium, meaning the team has a good dynamic and is coming along in terms of skill, High, meaning, the team has a good dynamic, high skill level, and stage presence, and lastly IN, meaning they are debut-ready. Trainees are also given a rank. A score of 57 or lower MAY result in a trainee being let go from the company, also known as an OUT. A score of 58-75 is considered Low, 76-86 considered Medium, 87-94 considered High, and a score of 95-100 is considered debut-ready, also known as IN or DR. The scores are found by adding the judges scores up, which are all out of 25.
