Vincent Lee (빈센트; or commonly known as V1NCENT) is a South-Korean soloist under THE REAL Entertainment. Currently, he devotes most of his time as a fellow song-writer, composer, and producer. While working in the studio and as a soloist, he goes by the stage name 1CENT.
He made his solo debut on August 9, 2015 with the single, "Vincere".
Early life[]
Vincent always had a particular interest in pursuing a music career after idolizing many K-pop groups as a child. During his teenage years, especially during the beginning of high school, he got addicted to SoundCloud. His love for the app grew to him listening to several artists' music and even producing his first song; which he later uploaded online.
While continuing to work as a producer and artist on SoundCloud, he met DM.e on the app and the two quickly became close online friends. The pair later met up in Korea, and also signed into the same label in 2015.
Career[]
2012-2015: V1NCENT, THE REAL Entertainment, Solo debut[]
He worked as a SoundCloud artist under the stage name, V1NCENT. He released a few EPs before slowly making his way into the Korean entertainment industry.
In 2015, he signed with THE REAL Entertainment as their first solo artist before making his official solo debut on August 9, 2015. The company released teaser images of him on his SNS account.
2016: Debut in DVD with "KEEP IT REAL"[]
On November 6, 2016, it was announced that Vincent would be debuting in a new duo, DVD, alongside labelmate, DM.e. The male duo released a single titled, "KEEP IT REAL" on December 20, 2016.
2017-2021: SW.C.P (Song-writer, composer, producer) activities[]
From 2017 to 2021, he worked solely as a producer for the company; not releasing or producing music of his own in those four years. Though, he helped produce many songs for various groups.
2022: "HAVEN"[]
In 2022, he helped produce songs for storyA's debut mini album, "PRIMUM".
After four or five years of not releasing any music, it was announced by the company on April 18, 2022, that he would be having a comeback soon with the mini album titled, "HAVEN".
